Bob[1] is a female[2] deflector that guards the Wyoming Menagerie[3] . She first appeared in Dragon on Trial.
Appearance[]
Bob is small[4] and furry with long furry arms. She has honey[5] and caramel[6] colored fur, long slender fingers[7] and enormous,[8] giant black eyes[9] with dark patches around them[10] and has a third eye above her normal pair, which she only opens to use her powers[11]. She looks like a slow loris or lemur with no tail, and has wings under her arms.[12]
Skills[]
Bob can turn invisible, and is capable of speech.[13] She has the power to revert a person to their least harmful state, but only uses this in emergencies[14].
Biography[]
Krakens and Lies[]
Logan sees Bob steal marshmallows that he and Zoe were using for their hot chocolate. Since he was wearing his mother's scarab necklace, he was able to notice him and acknowledge her presence. Zoe and Blue, however, did not know of his theft.[15] Later, when the Sterlings discover the Wyoming Menagerie and try to turn it into a theme park, Bob appears and uses his powers to put Mr. Sterling into a very harmless state, making him forget about his plans and allowing the main characters to free Captain Fuzzbutt and hide the Menagerie.[16]
Trivia[]
- Bob's name is a male name, despite her being female. This could be due to her possibly being named absentmindedly by the Kahns because of her deflector powers.[17]
