Captain Fuzzbutt is a 2-year-old[1] male mammoth clone. He first appeared in The Menagerie.

Appearance[]

Fuzzbutt is larger than a Saint Bernard and Mochi.[2] He has long brown fur that looks similar to a shaggy rug.[3] He has two small honey-colored tusks on either side of his trunk, and a furry tuft of brown hair hangs over his eyes.[4]

Biography[]

Pre-Series[]

In Siberia, Abigail Hardy rescued him from a hidden Russian cloning lab and brought him to the Wyoming Menagerie.[5]

The Menagerie[]

When Logan Wilde first met Fuzzbutt, the mammoth was very excited, and after he picked up the boy with his trunk, Zoe Kahn threatened to demote Fuzzbutt, which appeared to work as the mammoth quickly put down Logan.[6]

When Logan was almost killed by Silverina, Fuzzbutt was the one who woke up Zoe, which allowed Zoe to help Logan. Later, when Logan and Zoe were back on dry land, and Robert Kahn attempted gave credit to Zoe for Logan not drowning, Zoe claimed that it was mostly Fuzzbutt and the kraken who helped Logan.[7]

Dragon on Trial[]

Krakens and Lies[]

When Jasmin Sterling comes to the Kahn's house to return what she assumes might be Blue's jacket, Logan attempts to hide him while Zoe and Blue try to convince Jasmin to drink jackalope milk in a smoothie, but eventually Jasmin notices Fuzzbutt and freaks out.[8]

After rescuing Abigail and Xiang from the ruins of Old Silverado,[9] the main characters come back to the Kahn's house to find Fuzzbutt missing.[10] He was kidnapped by Arnold Sterling and Mrs. Sterling, due to the fact that Mr Sterling bought the Russian company that cloned him, making him his property.[11] He planned to show Captain Fuzzbutt at his election speech, but Bob used her powers to make him less antagonistic, allowing Fuzzbutt to be rescued.[12]
