Scratch is a male Western Dragon who formerly lived in the Wyoming Menagerie and is the titualar dragon of Dragon on Trial.
Appearance
Scratch is a third smaller than Clawdius. His reddish-orange-yellow, red-brown-gold, and rust-colored scales morph into a rusty brown along his belly. When in motion, his scales clank like steel against armor. Two wings protrude from his back, and barbs run along the length of his tail.

The Menagerie
Scratch was one of the dragons who said "INTRUDER!" when Logan snuck into the Wyoming Menagerie to bring Squorp back. He was mentioned indirectly as one of the dragons in the Menagerie.

Scratch was accused of murdering Pelly, the goose who laid the golden eggs. He was proven innocent later, due to the fact he was out of the Menagerie at the time and Pelly was found alive. Scratch was almost condemned to death, though it's possible he would've only been sent to the secret menagerie.
