Zoe Kahn is a 12-year-old[1] female human, and one of the main protagonists of The Menagerie trilogy. She and her family run the Wyoming Menagerie.
Appearance[]
Zoe is described as having chin-length red-brown hair[2] that is tucked behind her ears, and a green flannel shirt that was buttoned wrong [3].
Personality[]
Zoe is often portrayed as stressed, due to her hard work at the Wyoming Menagerie. The griffins have therefore dubbed her "Worry-Cub"[4], probably due to her almost-constant state of stress at a young age. She is quite adventurous, willing to go to several potentially dangerous places. She will do anything to keep the Menagerie from shutting down.
Biography[]
The Menagerie[]
Zoe, along with Blue Merevy and Keiko Kahn, search for the missing griffin cubs. She is nearly hit by Logan Wilde when he hits the curb with his bike and falls. Zoe helps him and says she is looking for a missing dog.[5]
Later, Zoe and Blue are taken back to school by Miss McCaffrey when found by the post office. After hearing about a situation in the cafeteria, Zoe tells Blue that she has to go, but stops when Blue says they can't leave class. Zoe argues that they'll get in trouble with SNAPA for not finding the cubs. Logan offers to check the cafeteria for her.[6]
Zoe and Blue search Xanadu after school and find Flurp's feather by the library. They go inside, meeting Jasmin Sterling as they investigate. Arnold Sterling also appears, mentioning the feathers and how he hopes to identify them, stressing out Zoe.[7]
